The magnetic compass is affected by structural changes to the vessel, the installation of new electronic equipment, or simply by the passage of time. Professional compensation ensures the deviation card is accurate, thereby preventing critical heading errors. A standard adjustment typically takes between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the vessel's magnetic state. Upon completion, the deviation card is issued.
As certified adjusters authorized by the Spanish Directorate General of the Merchant Marine (Adjuster No. 86), our certification holds full legal validity for all international safety inspections, including those under SOLAS regulations.
The magnetic system acts as your vital backup in the event of antenna failure, interference, or satellite signal jamming. It is a mandatory maritime safety requirement that ensures your capacity for autonomous navigation.
Immediate issuance of the mandatory certification required for vessel clearance.
Eliminating deviations and magnetic interference for consistently reliable navigation.
Your magnetic compass is the only guidance system that does not rely on satellites or electricity. It is your ultimate safeguard against GPS failure.
